Storage Game
Storage Game
A storage merge game that fits on one floppy.
Mac App Store is a service mark of Apple Inc.
What it is
Drop storage devices; two of a kind merge into the next size up. There are eleven tiers, from an 80 KB 8-inch floppy to a 4 TB NVMe SSD. The run ends when the stack crosses the red line.
How it was made
The whole signed app bundle fits on one 3.5-inch floppy disk (1,474,560 bytes). Apart from the icon it ships no image or sound files; everything on screen and everything you hear is drawn and synthesized in code.
Where it stands
It runs on macOS 13 or later, with one app for Apple Silicon and Intel. You can play a random opponent or a friend invited with a five-letter code in real time, and there is a global leaderboard.
